A leading manufacturer of bathroom and locker cabinets (i.e., medicine, first aid, and safety cabinets) takes a tiger leap in productivity by purchasing the electric PivaPunch Punching Center for Coils. This electric punching center enables and enhances the production of thinner gauge sheet metal parts. Small batches are produced from a common coil width whereas more extensive, longer runs come directly from coils with true coil width; punched parts are stacked, bent and post-painted as required by manufacture.
In order to minimize the set-up times, several different coils sizes are placed in close proximity of the mandrel on motorized coil cars that enables quick offloading of existing coils and loading of new coils. The loading and unloading of coils is completed by a single operator quickly, safely, and ergonomically from a simple operated touch screen.
